Greetings, universe!

I am a media and advertising scholar, writer, and educator. Currently I am based at the Klein College of Media and Communication of Temple University, but will be joining the permanent faculty of Temple University Japan Campus Kyoto beginning in January 2026.

My work explores the intersections of media, advertising, and degrowth within the broader field of communication ecology. To that end, I am working to develop the Communication, Ecology and Degrowth (CEDe) Project.

Please bear with me as I put together this new website... it's been a little while since I pulled one of these things together.
